Citizen of the Month

The Citizen of the Month is an individual who has gone above and beyond their civic duty as a citizen of this wonderful city. The everyday involvement in neighborhood affairs or overall warm and generous actions make each worthy of recognition as a New Franklin Citizen of the Month.

Requirements for nominations are as follows:

Nominee must be a resident of the City of New Franklin.
You may include photos, letters of support, or other information to support your nomination.
Nominations can be made by New Franklin Residents, Council members, Mayor and Community Organizations. The City of New Franklin staff, City Council and Mayor are not eligible as nominees of this program.

Business Spotlight

New Franklin wishes to recognize outstanding businesses, specifically those that have demonstrated remarkable achievements. The business being nominated should have a history of establishment not less than 1 year and demonstrate at least one of the following attributes:

Growth – exemplifies positive growth trends in physical expansion, increased revenue and/or workforce; or
Innovation – demonstrates creativity and imagination in their field; or
Involvement – active in the community and encourages employees to be engaged; or
Recognition – publicly recognized and/or nominated for an achievement or award that positively promotes the city of New Franklin

Business Spotlight recipients will be selected based on merit, as demonstrated by the nomination form and letter(s) of support. Businesses of all sizes will receive equal consideration. Nominated businesses must maintain operations (primary or otherwise) in New Franklin. Recipients of the spotlight will be chosen by city-council.
