AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND NEW FRANKLIN ZONING CODE SECTION 800.01 (SUPPLEMENTAL LAND USE REGULATIONS) AND TO AMEND THE DEFINITION OF STRUCTURE, ACCESSORY FOUND IN ARTICLE 14 OF THE NEW FRANKLIN ZONING CODE AND DECLARING THAT THIS

ORDINANCE SHALL BE EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY UPON PASSAGE.

10. MAYOR’S REPORT

The Storm water Demonstration Project in the parking lot area is the first of its kind in the State of Ohio and it is moving along nicely.

We will be receiving a CDBG matching grant of $30k for senior exercise equipment that will be used for fitness trail stations. This will be added to the new 3/4 mile walking trail in front of City Hall.

Manchester Schools will be placing a 5.99 mil five-year operating levy on the November 5th ballot and the Mayor hopes the community will support it. Manchester school has lost 10% of its general fund due to local government loss of funds.

Saturday, November 2nd from 10 A.M. until Noon, please come help plant native vegetation and wild flowers in the new flood control program at the City Hall Campus.

There has been 14 hits on the Council Video from September 24th through October 1st. We are unable to know if they are duplicates or how long the viewer stayed on.

Mr. Adamson read a letter from an Officer from the Akron Police Department commending a New Franklin Police Officer.
